Terms of Service

Effective July 19, 2026

These terms govern your use of rankandkeep.com and the Rank & Keep client portal. Using either means you accept them. They are short on purpose.

Who this is for

Rank & Keep is for local service businesses that want to be found in Google’s map results and by AI assistants. It is not for national e-commerce, not for reputation suppression, and not for anyone looking to rank a business that does not really serve the area it claims.

What the service is

A monthly cycle: we measure your local search position with real data, draft fixes in your voice, publish approved fixes to the properties you connect, and show you all of it in your portal. The exact scope of your plan is what we agreed with you in writing.

What we do not promise

We do not guarantee any specific ranking, traffic level, lead volume, or revenue. Search engines and AI assistants change their systems constantly and without notice, competitors act independently, and nobody — including us — controls those results. Anyone in this industry who guarantees a position is either misinformed or lying. We report what actually happened, including when it is bad news.

Your account and your content

You are responsible for keeping your portal access code private and for activity under it. Tell us immediately if it is exposed and we will rotate it.

You keep ownership of your business information and of the content we produce for you. You grant us permission to publish that content to the accounts you connect, and to use your business details to do the work. You confirm you have the right to grant us access to the websites and profiles you connect.

Content is drafted with AI assistance and remains yours to review. Anything published on your behalf can be pulled back from the portal, and we will not knowingly publish anything you have rejected.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service to publish false claims about your business, to misrepresent a service area you do not serve, to solicit or post fake reviews, to attack a competitor, or to break the terms of Google or any platform we publish to. We may decline or reverse work that would do any of those, and may end the relationship over it.

Billing

Where billing runs through this site, the plan is $399 per month, charged monthly in advance, with no setup fee and no long-term contract. You may cancel at any time; cancellation stops future charges and takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not prorate partial months. Payments are processed by Stripe under its own terms. Some clients are billed under a separate agreement — where that agreement differs from this section, that agreement controls.

Third-party platforms

The service depends on Google, your website platform, and other providers listed in our Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for their outages, policy changes, account suspensions, or decisions about your listings. If a platform blocks a capability, we will tell you plainly rather than pretend it still works.

Limitation of liability

The service is provided as-is. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost business. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim arose. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

Ending the relationship

Either of us may end it at any time. On termination we stop the work, stop billing, and revoke our access to your connected accounts. Content already published to your own properties stays yours. Ask us for an export of your report history and we will provide it.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; the effective date above will change. For active clients, material changes are communicated directly, not just posted.
